Compromise is the art of meeting in the middle, so everybody is somewhat happy.

But also somewhat not happy.

Compromise is both a purposeful strategy and a lowest common denominator when we don’t know what else to do.

Relationships, leadership, and community building all require some degree of compromise to be successful. But also, you can’t be successful if everything’s a compromise.
