On Preaching and Practicing

I admit it.

I’ve been straying from the course. I’ve not been practicing my own preaching from these pages right here. That’s on me. And it’s causing problems. By 9 am most days, when much of the (East Coast) world is just starting to work, I’m already a frazzled mess.

Too much to do. Too many agents. Too many people left dangling. Too much “multitasking.” Too much thinking that I can do it faster.

But that’s also the purpose of this space.

Identify an issue. Think it through. Write it down.

Then do the things.

I’m a human. We’re humans. Imperfect and slightly hypocritical on our best days. To be utterly ashamed of on our worst days. Most days somewhere in between.

But we have each other to lean on.

This space is for me to talk to me.
