“Oh, I don’t know about that.”
At a picnic, this might be a great thing to say. In fact, it’s probably a great thing to say because then you can ask questions and have a conversation.
But what about professionally? In your supposed area of expertise? The thing you do and bring value to each day you show up.
You can choose to take that position. That’s a comfortable position. “I know this. I don’t know that.” “I’ve always done it this way.” “This has served me well in the past.”
But for how long can you breathe with your head in the sand?
